Lovers Leap State Park – Connecticut Route 67 and Connecticut Route 202 has some of the best views in town!   Standing on the 1895 Berlin Iron Bridge to cross the Housatonic River gives you a magnificent view of the gorge shrouded in fiery trees- it is a sight you won’t forget.  It’s the perfect place for photos. From there, cross the bridge to a simple trail to the overlook that brings you to the rock formations that, legend says, is where Pootatuck Indian Chief Waramaug’s daughter, Princess Lillinonah, and her lover plunged to their deaths.

Scenic Overlook-  Route 67.  Take a ride up Route 67, and about 3 miles on your right you’ll come across a Scenic Overlook. The perfect place to pull over and view the hills and valleys below shrouded by fiery fall colors.
