Golfers who are already suffering withdrawal symptoms from their games have a new outlet for their passion.
The 27 Main Street facility offers 2,000 square feet of space for indoor teaching and practicing. The business is the brainchild of Paul Ramee, the director of golf at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club in South Kent.
“I am excited to become a part of the new business landscape in New Milford,” Ramee said. “My family and I have been living in this area for over ten years, and we always believed the Village Green in New Milford is one of the most picturesque in Connecticut.
“The ability to improve someone’s enjoyment of the game of golf is something I have selfishly enjoyed from the beginning of my career,” Ramee said. “The ability to develop a new golfer who will enjoy the game for years to come is a great privilege. It does not matter to me if it is a scratch golfer or beginner. Either way, my love of teaching and helping them enjoy this game is what I have loved the most about my career.”
Bull’s Bridge Golf Club’s assistant professional, Chris Stahlnecker, will also be on staff for lessons, particularly for junior golfers.
Lessons and practice sessions at Golf on the Green can be reserved by the half hour, full hour or in packaged blocks of time.
